The Anakie Fairy park north of Geelong.
Set on 10 hectares around on one of 3 rocky pinnacles known as 'The Anakies' in the Brisbane Ranges, the park is a must to visit if you have children, or are young at heart. Privately owned and 40 years in the making, it has mobile dioramas of every significant fairy tale ever told and a few you may not have heard. There are playgrounds, picnic & BBQ areas, plenty of parking, and heaps to do.
Here you will find Aladdin, Sinbad, Snow White, Alice, Hansel & Gretel, the 3 Bears and many more. There is an adventure playground appropriately named 'Camelot' with every facility a child could want, and just enough excitement.
There are towers to climb, dungeons to visit, and a damsel who has lost her head.
Electric coin operated BBQs, on tap boiling water, and shelter for up to 400 make this an ideal day excursion for the family.
Fairy Park is open every day from 10am. - 4pm.
I personally recommend a visit to Fairy Park for everybody.
