TURTONS TRACK RAINFOREST DRIVE
Turtons Track is a section of road between Beech Forest and Tanbryn in the Otway Ranges near Apollo
Bay.
A loose surface road, it meanders through fern glades and rainforest with giant messmates and
beech trees on either side of the road.
The road is around 18km. in length and is an alternative route from Lavers Hill to Apollo Bay,
or can be part of a round trip from Apollo Bay through Lavers Hill taking in the Maits Rest Walk,
Cape Otway Lighthouse, several waterfalls, and returning via Turtons Track and the Forrest-Apollo
Bay Rd through Skenes Creek.
