| The Blue Lake, Mt Gambier, South Australia | ![]() |
The Blue Lake is one of Australia's natural phenomenums changing colour each summer from
an ordinary grey to a brilliant blue. It is one of 3 lakes located in the crater of Mount Gambier, overlooking the city and provides the water supply for the town. The pumping station in the foreground is required as the water level in the crater is actually below the level of the main street. |
