The World Heritage Listed Barrington Tops National Park includes extensive areas of state forest, designated Wilderness areas, rich, sub-tropical rainforests and a broad divesity of flora and fauna.
Tall straight eucalypts, ancient beech, ferny gullies and diverse flowering plants surround wonderful walking tracks which reveal the extent and beauty of this popular park. Throughout the park there are tracks for walkers, mountain-bikers, horse-riders and 4WD. Idyllic camping sites beside crystal clear streams or deep river pools offer a diversity to please the most demanding.
During winter snow falls in the park transform it to a winter wonderland. In summer, cool refreshing pools among shady forests provide ideal resting plaaces as you explore the park.
Walking trails vary from tracks across the plateau through snow-gums, to climbs to the highest peaks where spectacular views will be seen.
Barrington Tops is one of the highlights of New South Wales and only a 2 hour drive from busy Sydney.
