Twin town with Yarrawonga (Victoria) on the Murray River and featuring
Lake Mulwala, one of the most popular recreation lakes along the Murray. Formed in 1919 by damming the Murray at Yarrawonga Weir it is a bird haven and dotted by hundreds of.dead gum trunks,some thousands of years old. A water-skiing club at the lake is the largest in the world with 4,000 members. Plenty of Accommodation in both Mulwala and Yarrawonga. | |
