Small coastal town north of South West Rocks at the centre of long stretches of golden beaches reaching from the mouth of the Macleay River to above Middle Head. Severalrocky outcrops dot the coastline including Grassy Head and Middle Head, and large aboriginal middens will be found among the sand dunes. Fishing is popular and the beaches offer surfing and swimming.
