PAMBULA - NEW SOUTH WALES
Pambula, taken from an Aboriginal word meaning "two waters" has been home to the Yuin Aboriginal tribe for thousands of years.
White settlers converged on Pambula soon after George Bass arrived along the Pambula River in 1797. Originally the town was built on the river flats, after a series of floods it was moved to it's current posistion on higher ground.
On Pambula Beach you can fish, surf, horse ride, picnic, BBQ or take a leasurely walk and explore this patrolled natural wonder.
Take a cruise along Pambula River and discover the rich Aboriginal history.
Pambula Food Frolic and Festival, held in October where food vendors display and sell their specialties along the Pambula main street.
