Historic Church in Ayr.

Ayr will be found just south of Townsville on the coast of Queensland. The Burdekin River irrigation system has made this area the most productive sugar growing area in Australia. Among the things to do is take a visit to the Ayr Nature Display where you can see collections of carved emu eggs, butterflies, beetles and other things of interest.
The Burdekin Cultural Complex in Queen St. presents live shows in the 530 seat theatre, has a library and activities centre, and a 'Living Lagoon' display in the foyer.
