Located in the Denham Ranges south west of Mackay, Moranbah was built to service a local coal industry and much of this association is on display. At the entrance to the town is a large red dragline bucket, and you can have a tour of the Peak Downs Mine by booking on 07 4941 7254.
Visit the Moranbah Library and Art gallery and enjoy a walk along Federation Walk at the town entrance.
