Birdwood is popular with visitors to the old mill, which houses the Birdwood Motor Museum. One of South Australia's most visited attractions.

    HOW TO GET THERE:
    From Adelaide
    Take the south eastern freeway up the hill to the Hahndorf turn-off and swing sharp left onto the Oakbank and Gumeracha road about half a kilometre towards Hahndorf.
    Pass through these towns and continue on to Birdwood.
    From the north, take North East Road or Gorge Road to Cudlee Creek and join the Adelaide - Mannum Road which passes through Birdwood.
    Several operators conduct tours of the Adelaide Hills including Birdwood.
