Elliston is a seaside town located on the Flinders Highway (Alt 1) on the Eyre
Peninsula in the far west of the state and reached from the Eyre Highway (1)
to Perth. It is 650km west of Adelaide. A seaside resort on Waterloo Bay renowned for its fishing, beautiful cliffs and spectacular coastline, Elliston was named after Ellen Liston, a governess, in 1878, it has many sheltered bays ideal for swimming, diving and waterskiing, and the secluded and unspoiled beaches are a wonderful place to relax and enjoy.
