Roadhouse and hotel on the Stuart Hwy north of Pimba on the way to Coober Pedy. Accommodation, meals. caravan park, service station.
Water here is plentiful but of poor quality. Drinking water was transported from Coondambo station to the south east last time I stayed here and was fine.
Glendambo came into being in 1982 with the re-alignment and bitumising of the Stuart highway and replaced the limited services at Kingoonya to the west as a service point along the highway.
You can turn off to Kingoonya and see what was the main stop along the way until it was replaced.
