EXPLORING THE EYRE PENINSULA.

Take Highway 1 north through Gepps Cross and Virginia to Port Wakefield. A ferry service operates from Wallaroo on theYorke Peninsula across the gulf to fram Wallaroo to Lucky Bay near Cowell, or you can continue north through Port Augusta, then turn south,west of the city onto the Lincoln Hwy and follow the coast to Port Lincoln through Whyalla then on to Ceduna.
Alternatively you can continue straight on to Ceduna through Wudinna and then double back along the coast to approachPort Lincoln from the west.
Many roads criss-cross the peninsula and you should take time to visit places like Lock and Cummins in the hinterland.
The peninsula is noted for its beaches and fishing and there are many accommodation palces along the way where you canpull up for a day or two and enjoy these activities.
Many people travelling to or from Perth take this coast road and explore the delights of the beautiful Eyre Peninsulaon their journey.
