Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm and Cafe, at Elizabeth Town, is 15 minutes east of Deloraine on the Bass Highway.
Eight different varieties of raspberries are grown on the 4 hectare farm guaranteeing a supply of fresh raspberries
from mid December to Mid May. Summer Crops begin in mid December and finish late February and the Autumn Crop begins
in late February and ends around Mother's Day in May.
Summer varieties include; An old fashioned variety Willamette and, Tullamine Chilcottin, Chilawack.
Autumn Varieties include; Autumn Bliss and the latest variety Heritage.
All varieties can be snap frozen and are available all year. Tours of the farm can be arranged but do
need forward booking the cost being $20 per tour. Visitors are encouraged to explore the grounds and lakes
and wander over to the raspberry fields. The grounds are very beautiful with an abundance of bird life.
The staff have knowledge of the raspberry farm and are happy to answer any questions
you may have.
Approximately 40% of the 20 tonnes of fruit picked is either sold in the Cafe as fresh fruit or value added
into raspberry products & desserts, drinks etc. These include jams, sauces, syrups, liquors, vinaigrette
etc. currently available by mail order.
Breakfast, lunch or snacks are served all day on the all-weather deck and you can sample some of the delicious
berry creations, including icecream, cakes and muffins.
Fresh and frozen berries, wine and jam are for sale all year round.
