Located in The North East between Scottsdale and St Helens on the A3 Hwy. Features around Branxholm include Myrtle Park, Sideling Lookout, South Springs Forest Park, Cuckoo Falls, Mt Victoria Reserve, and north to the Waterhouse Protected Area on the coast.
Branxholm is also on the 'Trail of the Tin Dragon' a path which follows the tin mines mainly established by Chinese miners. There is an hotel just off the highway and a cafe and roadhouse on the road.
