The town of Forth

The pretty village of Forth is located on the river of the same name only 15km south west of Devonport and nestled amongst the hills of the Western Tiers.
While part of a rich agricultural and market area its proximity to Devonport and Ulverstone means it has all the nearby facilities of modern living while retaining the character of a pretty country hamlet.
Fishing in the river, country walks and lookouts offering panoramic views over the Forth Valley and the ranges make this a popular getaway destination. There are interesting old cemeteries around the area to explore and a host of sights to see in nearby towns.
Basic services are available including accommodation at the hotel.
