EXPLORING WILSONS PROMONTORY.

Take the freeway east of Melbourne to Dandenong and turn south on to the South Gippsland Hwy and continue through Cranbourne and turn east at the Bass Hwy junction towards Leongatha and Korumburra.
Continue to Foster and turn south to Wilsons Promontory, 200km from Melbourne.
At Tidal River there is a parking area, camping and cabin accommodation and a National Parks information Centre which has maps and information on all the attractions of 'The Prom'.
You can complete a round trip by heading east from Foster on your return, travelling through Toora to Yarram and then turn left through the Tarra Bulga National Park to Traralgon and return to Melbourne via the Princes Hwy through Moe, Morwell and Warragul.
