Historic courthouse in Buninyong

Buninyong is a small town just south of ballarat which is rapidly developing into a suburb of that city.
There is a golf course, some art and craft galleries, and a bird zoo between the two towns off the main road.
The Crown Hotel was the subject of a raffle a couple of years ago with tickets to own the hotel selling at $100.00.
Just north of the town on the Midland Hwy is the Clayfire Gallery, a popular pottery centre.
The highway through the town leads to Geelong some 75km. south.
