The Convent Gallery at Daylesford.

Twin towns at the centre of Spa Country. Founded on gold in the 1850s, these two towns have become the playground of Victoria. Craft shops, mineral springs and scenic drives. The Convent Gallery in daylesford is among Victoria’Äôs most visited attractions.
One of Victoria's most interesting areas with lush vegetation and forests, lakes, beautiful mountains and attractive historic buildings. The nearby Hepburn Springs are renowned for their therapeutic qualities and the Hepburn Springs Waters are sold nationally and internationally to an increasing market. At Hepburn Springs a complex provides spas, sauna and therapeutic pools for bathing, or the visitor can help themselves to the waters from a series of pumps along the waterway.
The Convent Gallery in Daylesford is recognised as one of the finest in Australia and was recently rated in the top ten attractions in Victoria. The creation of potter and businesswoman Tina Banitska, it is located in the old Convent building high on a hill overlooking beautiful Daylesford. The gallery contains every type of craft imagineable and is an experience to visit. It is open daily.
Lake Daylesford and Jubilee Lake offer water recreation and the whole area is scattered with coffee lounges and restaurants. A marvellous detour with access back to the freeway at Ballan.
