Portsea is at the south-western end of the Mornington Peninsula near the Point Nepean National Park. It is renowned for the spectacular coastline around the town and its beaches. From nearby Sorrento, a ferry crosses the entrance to Port Phillip bay to Queenscliff on the Bellarine Peninsula.
