Small town between Myrtleford and Wosonga in the north of the state.
Agricultural area. Motel and B&B accommodation. The whole commercial centre of Yackandandah has been classified by the National Trust as significant in the history of Victoria and Australia, and it is marvellous to behold. Retaining much of the character of the gold rush days on which the town was founded, there are verandahed shops, stately public buildings and tree lined streets which will take you to yesteryear in a flash. There are art, craft and antique galleries galore, and the sidewalk cafes offer an opportunity to pause and take in the surroundings as you step back to a gentler, more relaxed time. Motel.
