KAMBALDA - WESTERN AUSTRALIA
Gold was discovered here in 1897 and it was called Red Hill until the gold ran out after 10 years and it was abandoned until nickel was discoverd in the mid 1960's and a large processing plant was built to refine the ore.
Land yachts race on nearby Lake Lefroy and there are several vantage points where you can see panoramic views of the town.
