Whale Watching in Australia
Whales visit Australian waters between May and September to breed and give birth in the warmer waters.
Many can be seen from vantage points in Warnambool, Victoria, Victor Harbor and Ceduna in South Australia, and points along the Queensland and New South Wales coast.
Nothing is quite so spectacular though as getting near to these magnificent mammals and taking photographs. Some places who specialise in whale watching charter tours are listed below.
