Coastal town near Jurien Bay established in 1962. It was named after the 'Cervantes', a whaling ship which sank off the coast and is a fishing town predominantly providing lobster.
The Nambung National Park nearby features The Pinnacles, a collection of stark pillars rising from the surrounding sand. Swimming and surfing are popular pastimes and there is an arta festival held each October.
